Praveen Kumar burst onto the scene in the 2008 triumph against Australia down under, and was an instant success.

The bowler has not quite lived up to the expectations at the international level but has quite a reputation in the domestic set-up. Praveen can swing the ball both ways and is also very handy in the death overs.

He is quite a street smart cricketer and has done rather well for the different teams he has played for, but unfortunately he too is a regular mover as far as franchises are concerned.

He was also unsold in the 2014 auctions, but then was later picked up Mumbai Indians.
