Mohammed Shami picked up 5 wickets in this year’s IPL

The 25-year-old right-arm fast bowler from Uttar Pradesh played in this year’s IPL for the Delhi Daredevils. Though he was in India’s World T20 squad he didn’t play a single match as he wasn’t 100% fit.

The pacer also didn’t play all the matches in this year’s IPL. In 8 appearances this season the right-arm pacer picked up 5 wickets at an average of 48.80. He also bowled with a very expensive economy rate of 8.85 which is considered poor based on IPL standards.
