Samuel Badree
Mitchell Starc, who is widely considered as the finest bowler in limited overs cricket currently, will miss the IPL this season due to injury. Although Starc's absence will be a big blow to the Kohli-led team, the pucharse of West Indian spinner Samuel Badree at just Rs. 50 lakhs could be the bargain of the season.
In the 2016 ICC World T20, according to many, Badree was the best bowler of the tournament. The 35-year-old is likely to be used in the Powerplay overs by Kohli.
Badree's participation in the first few matches of the tournament is in doubt due to an injury he sustained during the World T20 final, which could see either Adam Milne or Kane Richardson getting a game or two.
IPL career: 5 matches, 2 wickets
