IPL 2016: Royal Challengers Bangalore Predicted XI

Australian all-rounder Shane Watson was the biggest buy of the 2016 IPL auction at a whopping price of Rs. 9.5 cr. After being a part of the Rajasthan Royals since the inception of the league, Watson will finally play for another franchise.

It will be interesting to see where RCB fit the 2-time IPL MVP into their line-up as the opening partnerhsip between Gayle and Virat Kohli worked well last year. We could see Watson batting in the lower middle-order like he did for Australia in the final two matches of the recently concluded ICC World T20, but one feels he will be better utilized at the top of the order.

As a genuine all-rounder, Watson will help add some much-needed balance to the team's line-up.
