Umesh picked up a flurry of wickets to derail Punjab’s innings

Umesh Yadav returned to action following a well-deserved break in the aftermath of a long and productive home season. The format might have been different but he resumed from where he left off. Operating with sharp pace, the 29-year old reiterated his stature as a wicket-taking bowler.

The first of his four wickets was the dangerous Glenn Maxwell. His awkward line cramped the batsman for room and managed to procure the vital breakthrough.
