Pollard will look to get back his form

Kieron Pollard

Kieron Pollard’s ability as a hard-hitting all-rounder came to light after his success with West Indian side Trinidad and Tobago in the Champions League T20 back in 2009.

His success at the tournament led to him being picked up by the Mumbai Indians in 2010 and he has proved to be one of the most effective all-rounders for them over the years.

He has finished many matches for Mumbai and has proved to be an effective bowler as well. He has also taken a few spectacular catches over the years and has been involved in a lot of banter on the field with opposition cricketers.

He has not been in great form over the past year or so and will be looking to silence his critics in the IPL this year.

Hardik Pandya

The younger of the Pandya brothers has surely been one of the finds of the IPL over the past couple of years.

After making his debut in 2015, he showcased his skills as a big hitter and a fast bowling all-rounder. He achieved a lot of success with the Mumbai Indians in 2015 and was responsible for a few of their victories as well.

He will always be remembered for his knock when he took Mumbai to victory with a quick-fire eight-ball 21 against CSK coming when the team needed 30 from two overs.

Shortly after the 2015 edition, he made his way into the Indian T20 side and was even a part of the World T20 squad which reached the semifinals in 2016.

He did not perform too well in the IPL last year and will be looking to turn his fortunes around this year.

Krunal Pandya

The elder Pandya came into the limelight with some impressive performances in last year’s IPL. While Hardik did not live up to his potential, Krunal played a vital role in the lower middle order with his big hitting and proved to be successful with the ball as well.

While Hardik is a right-handed batsman and a medium pace bowler, Krunal is a left-arm slow orthodox bowler and a left-handed batsman as well.

He played 12 matches for the Indians in 2016 and scored 237 runs at an average of 39.50 with one half-century to his name. He picked up 6 wickets as well and will be looking to continue his good run of form this year too.
