With an average of 38.69 through his IPL career, he is more than 8 runs above the other keepers in the competition. He also has almost 100 dismissals to his name from behind the stumps, including 29 stumpings.

His finishing abilities have won many matches for his teams over the years. It is astonishing that Dhoni has remained not out in almost one out of every three IPL matches he has played. Even though he is no longer the captain of the Pune team, his performances will be the key to unlocking the door to the playoffs and beyond.
