Raina's form key to CSK's fortunes

Suresh Raina, one of IPL’s all-time best batsmen, is the leading run-getter in playoffs. In 17 playoff games, Raina has scored 636 runs at an average of 52 and a strike rate of 168. He was instrumental for CSK in their two title wins.

With four fifties from 13 games, the 31-year-old has already scored almost 400 runs in the tournament. He scored a brilliant 61* in CSK’s last league game against KXIP, and is in good form at the moment.

Dhoni will expect his star batsman to shine against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Sunrisers Hyderabad have some excellent bowlers in their ranks and Raina will have to hold the fort for CSK. Runs from him will be crucial for CSK’s fortunes in the qualifier one.
