#1 Ashton Agar

The 24-year-old has never played in the Indian Premier League despite being one of the best limited-overs cricketers in Australia.
Agar was the star of the show for Perth Scorchers in the Big Bash League 2017/18. He picked up 8 wickets in the tournament at an economy rate of 5.74. Only Rashid Khan conceded fewer runs per over in the tournament (minimum 30 overs). He also played well for Australia in the T20I tri-series against New Zealand and England.
Agar is a handy batsman and with Vijay Shankar struggling to fill the all-rounder slot, Agar would have done a great job for Delhi. His ability to bowl in the power play overs would have given Iyer an additional bowling option at the start.
