IPL 2018: 4 batsmen who can take up the opening duties for DD

The cricketing festival of India, IPL, is just 10 days away, and the hush-hush has already begun in the camps of all the franchises. The franchises are fighting it out hard to cover all the bases before they take the field in the upcoming edition of IPL.

Delhi Daredevils will enter the colossal league with a hope to end their jinx at IPL by lifting their first-ever IPL trophy. Delhi has a more or less settled batting line-up with a quality top order. Thus, this time around, with many openers in their squad, team selection will be an uphill task for DD.

This time again, Rishabh Pant is set to serve Delhi Daredevils after being retained by DD in IPL retention. Having opened for DD in the past, Pant is most likely to the open for DD in the upcoming edition of IPL as well.

This time, with Delhi Daredevils as his base, he might be looked by DD for the opening slot. Although DD have quite a few players in their ranks for the opening slot, Roy could be the topmost priority owing to his explosive traits as a batsman up the order.
