'The Big Show' didn't quite justify his nickname so far, barring 2014 season where he won the Player of the Series award taking Kings XI Punjab to the finals. Since then, Glenn Maxwell has only led the fans to disappointment. Having scored four fifties in his lone successful season, he managed to score only two in the next three seasons, turning out to be rather a 'flop show'.

Bagged by Delhi Daredevils for ₹9 crores this year, the 29-year-old seems like being overpaid for his role. Since he is not expected to be the backbone of DD's batting lineup, his boundary-hitting ability aptly deserved a sum of something under ₹5 crores.
