Handing the league fee of whopping ₹11 crores to Pandya in comparison to Bumrah's ₹7 crores is arguable. It is true that it would have influenced neither the franchise budget nor the team combination, but the one who matches the double-figure price-tag with his stature is evident enough. While Pandya is a handy player who contributes both with the bat and the ball, Bumrah with his impeccable death bowling is more of a match winner.
