Ish Sodhi was signed as a replacement for Afghan spinner, Zahir Khan. Ish Sodhi is ranked No.4 in the ICC rankings for T20I bowlers.

The wrist spinner has a great T20I record as he claimed 36 wickets in 26 games, playing on surfaces not so suitable for spin bowling. He has a decent economy rate of 7.43.

With the inclusion of Jofra Archer in the XI, the chances of Ish Sodhi getting a game look meagre.

But if given a chance Sodhi will be a good prospect in the spin department for Rajasthan Royals, who are playing two inexperienced spinners in their side.
