IPL 2018: 5 Indians for whom this year's IPL is of supreme importance

India v Bangladesh: Quarter Final - 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup
Suresh Raina still has a lot of cricket left in him

#2 Mayank Agarwal

<p>
Mayank Agarwal has been in brilliant form off late.

Mayank Agarwal has had a tremendously profitable domestic season this year. He was a prolific run-scorer for Karnataka in their campaign this year and his hunger for runs was admirable.

Agarwal is gifted with natural talent but he has struggled to find consistency and stability throughout his career. This year has been very different for him though. He has showcased maturity and efficiency along with some raw talent and has scored runs in abundance

Still he failed to impress the selectors and hence is still waiting to make his International debut for India. He will play for the Kings XI Punjab in IPL 2018 and would hope that his rich vein of form continues and he grabs the eyeballs of the selectors.

He can be a good edition to the Indian middle order. If he can perform well in IPL 2018, he can present a strong case for himself for the number four position in the Indian middle order for ICC World Cup 2019. He oozes class and is one of the most watchable young players.
