Willey the batsman or Willey the bowler?

David Willey's name rose to prominence recently after his sublime performances. The English all-rounder is one of the most underrated players in T20 cricket and it came as a surprise to everyone when the 28-year-old attracted no franchise.

Willey has played 147 T20 games, in which he has picked up 143 wickets and scored 2097 runs with a phenomenal strike rate of 142.55. He can be used as a pinch-hitter or can open the batting, which makes him a dangerous player to have in the side. He has not yet featured in the IPL but his records in India are impressive.

Willey was successful in the T20 World Cup 2016 when England made it to the Final of the tournament. He can be tried out if Rabada suffers an injury.
