#5 Jaydev Undakat (Rajasthan Royals)
To the shock of every cricket fan, Rajasthan Royals went all in to buy some of the most sought after players in the 2018 IPL Auctions. With a stacked up roster and a new skipper in Ajinkya Rahane, Royals' return to IPL after 2 years has not been as eventful as they would have asked for as, after 6 matches, they currently sit at 5th spot on the points table.
On one hand, Sanju Samson and Ajinkya Rahane have been playing their best game after returning to their fortress in Jaipur, while Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler have also provided good support to the two main batsmen. On the other hand, however, the bowling form of the team has been a matter of major concern, with Shreyas Gopal leading their bowling charts with 5 wickets in 6 matches.
The biggest concern for the Royals has been the performance of their premier fast bowler. After finishing last season as the second highest wicket taker, Unadkat's form has taken a surprise dip this year as he has struggled to rattle the batsmen the way he did last year. After 6 matches, Unadkat only has 3 wickets to his name and has bowled at a horrendous economy of over 10. Guess the pressure of living up to his auction price is finally showing of on his performance.
