Colin Munro is one of the best opening batsmen in T20s and is also a player who is capable of scoring big hundreds in a 20-over game. He is one of the hardest hitters of the white ball and is capable of clearing any ground with ease.

Chennai has been struggling with their opening partnership, as Rayudu has been made to open the innings. Rayudu seems to be more comfortable batting in the middle order than at the top. CSK needs an attacking opener in its side and Munro is an option to fill that void.

Munro has played just two matches for the Delhi side and is eligible for a transfer to another team. He has been replaced by Roy, who has formed a great partnership with Gambhir at the top and it is unlikely that Delhi will change that.
