Chris Gayle holds the record of most centuries in the history of IPL. The Jamaican captures the first place in the list with five IPL centuries in his bank. However, with Chris Gayle not in great form, the record is expected to be broken in the upcoming edition of IPL.

Virat Kohli acquires the second place in the list with four IPL centuries to his name. While David Warner (3), AB de Villiers (3), and Brendon McCullum (2) fill in the third, fourth, and fifth place respectively.

Contenders who can break the record: Well, for the time being, Virat Kohli seems the only legit contender who can break the record.
