2010 Champions: Chennai Super Kings
This very edition of IPL witnessed the start of Chennai Super Kings' dominance over the league. Having reached the playoffs two times before, CSK, under the captaincy of MS Dhoni, lifted the title for the first time by defeating Sachin Tendulkar's Mumbai Indians by 22 runs in the final.
