This 19-year-old wicket-keeper from Patna has been one of the top picks for Mumbai Indians in the IPL auction this year, alongside Krunal Pandya. Currently, Kishan is known as the best wicket-keeper in the domestic cricket amongst all the uncapped players. Thus, going by his reputation, the Mumbai Indians franchise bought him for a whopping sum of Rs. 6.2 crore this season.

The left-hander last year played the IPL for Gujarat Lions and displayed his prowess with the bat while opening the innings. He was also the captain of the U-19 team which qualified for the finals of ICC Cricket World Cup.
