IPL 2018, DD vs SRH: Twitter erupts as "PANTSTORM" hit Sunrisers Hyderabad at Kotla

Delhi Daredevils were hosting Sunrisers Hyderabad in a must-win game to stay alive in the tournament. After asked to bowl first, Sunrisers looked like the dominant side of the two as they restricted Delhi to 21-2 in four overs. Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant were building a big-partnership until the captain was run out due to some bad running.

Harshal Patel was promoted to bat up the order and he put on a 55-run partnership with Pant before being run-out. Pant was undeterred by his bad running and clobbered the best bowling lineup of the tournament as he reached the 100-run mark off 56 balls. The enormity of his batting was on display in the Pant-Maxwell partnership as Maxwell just made 9 runs in a 63 run partnership. The highlight of the innings was Pant hitting Bhuvneshwar Kumar for 26 off 5 balls in the last over.
