Although Jofra Archer is an uncapped player from Windies, his current form in the Big Bash League forced the Royals to buy him for a whopping price of Rs. 7.20 Cr.

Archer came into limelight in the BBL where he bagged 17 wickets in 13 matches at an incredible average of 21.90. His best bowling figures in the league was 3/4 and he played a huge role in taking his team Hobart Hurricanes to the BBL Final.

Archer has played 41 T20s in his career and bagged 50 wickets at an exceptional average of 23.28. Archer would be up to show his mark in the IPL by troubling the world class batsmen with his pace.
