#2. Match No:54 - KKR vs SRH - Leg 2

The second match between KKR and SRH, in IPL 2018, was played at Hyderabad on May 19, 2018. SRH won the toss and elected to bat first.

Shikhar Dhawan and Shreevats Goswami opened the batting for SRH and the pair scored 79 runs for the first wicket. After Goswami got out for 35, the duo of Williamson and Dhawan continued to maintain the scoring rate. Dhawan got out for 50 and Williamson scored 36 from 17 balls. Manish Pandey scored 25 runs. No one else in the middle order was able to capitalise on the good start and excellent death bowling by Prasidh Krishna restricted SRH to 172/9. Krishna picked up 4 wickets for KKR.

KKR, in reply, started with Lynn and Narine scoring 52 for the first wicket partnership from just 22 balls. Lynn made 55 from 43 balls and Uthappa who joined him at No. 3, scored 45 from 34 balls. Dinesh Karthik at No. 4 ensured his presence till the end and KKR comfortably chased down the target in 19.4 overs.

Lynn was named Man of the Match for his 55 runs off 43 balls.
