The second Qualifier of the IPL 2018 was played between KKR and SRH at Kolkata on May 25, 2018. KKR won the toss and elected to field first.
SRH started decently with the bat with both openers, Dhawan and Saha, scoring in mid 30's each. But KKR picked wickets in regular intervals and chocked down the middle order. At the end of 18 overs, SRH were 138/7. But a cameo from Rashid Khan, who scored 34 from 10 balls, made sure that SRH finished at 174/7.
In reply, KKR made a good start with Lynn scoring 48 and Narine scoring 26 from 13 balls. At the end of 10 overs, KKR were 92/2. However, they collapsed to 108/5 and never recovered from that. Shubman Gill scored 30 from 20 balls but that was not enough, and KKR were 14 short of the target. Rashid Khan picked 3 wickets and Carlos Brathwaite picked 2 wickets.
Rashid Khan was named Man of the Match for his 34 runs and the bowling figures of 4-0-19-3.
