#8 Mumbai Indians (114*, by Sanath Jayasuriya)

The first decade of IPL has passed so quickly that it just seems like yesterday when Tendulkar and Jayasuriya, two of the best openers of all time, came out to bat together for the first time.
Jayasuriya, in particular, was probably the only bright spot in the lacklustre inaugural season Mumbai Indians had, ending the season as the third highest run scorer. Jayasuriya was at his destructive best during a match against CSK where he single-handedly destroyed the Chennai bowling line up.
With CSK posting a total of 156/6, Jayasuriya took charge and went on a rampage from the word go. So destructive and dominating was Jayasuriya's batting that day that his partners only scored 28 runs between them. With 9 fours and 11 sixes, Jayasuriya scored 114* from just 48 balls and took Mumbai Indians across the line in just 13.5 overs. Even after 10 years and 3 IPL titles, no MI player has managed to score more runs in an inning!
