No batsman from RCB scored a double-digit figure that day

In the first game of the IPL, Royal Challengers Bangalore were skittled out for 82 against Kolkata Knight Riders. That was the lowest score in IPL history until Kolkata Knight Riders were bundled out for 67 against Mumbai Indians at Mumbai during the same season.

Kolkata Knight Riders’ record was worsened when Rajasthan Royals scored only 58 against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the second match of IPL-2 at Cape Town. The Royals’ record stood for 8 years before Royal Challengers Bangalore were skittled out for 49 against Kolkata Knight Riders at Kolkata. This was also the first instance in IPL history when no batsman scored in double figures.
