One of the success stories of the Big Bash League in the last couple of years, Lynn has struggled to launch himself in this year's IPL, failing to unleash the big shots he was reputed for.

He consumed 9 balls to get off the mark which included a maiden over from an impressive Trent Boult first over. He failed to take off from there, which Gayle did successfully in the previous match with a similar start and played second fiddle to Robin Uthappa.

He, however, mustered a respectful 31 runs off 29 balls including four boundaries and a solitary six, while he would have at least doubled the score when he was on song. KKR fans will be hoping for the Lynnsanity to unleash sooner rather than later in the upcoming matches.
