IPL 2018, KXIP vs RCB: Twitter reacts as Bangalore demolish Punjab in a must-win game

Royal Challengers Bangalore who needed three wins in three games to stay alive in the tournament, put KXIP to bat first after winning the toss in Indore.

Even though KXIP's openers got a decent start, Umesh Yadav pulled things back for RCB as he dismissed both the openers in the fifth over of the match.

From there on, there was no looking back for the Royal Challengers Bangalore. The only batsmen other than KL Rahul and Chris Gayle who managed to reach the double figure mark was Aaron Finch, who scored a 23-ball 26.

In addition to the performance of RCB's bowlers, their fielders were exceptional as they affected three run-outs in the game.

Chasing a target of 89, the Bangalore-based franchise cruised through, as they scored 92 runs in 8.1 overs without the loss of any wicket.

Before the match, RCB's net run rate was -0.261, and after their emphatic win, their run rate is now +0.216. On the other hand, KXIP now has the worst net rate of -0.518 in the tournament after two big losses.
