After not being selected for the first two games, Chris Gayle sat out and waited for his chance. When given a chance he grabbed it with both hands and made the most of it. In his first match against CSK, Gayle scored a 33-ball 63 and was awarded the man of the match. With a good performance, Gayle confirmed his position in the side at least for one more match.
