#6 Murali Vijay (Chennai Super Kings)
Murali Vijay is all set to enjoy a much-awaited homecoming, as he returns to the franchise which is not only based in his city but also one where he played some of his best cricket.
He made his debut for Chennai Super Kings in 2008, though he was given a consistent run in the team only from 2009 onwards. Vijay soon became an important part of the successful journey of CSK, forming dependable partnerships first with Matthew Hayden and then Michael Hussey. His performances in crucial knockout matches were of significant value and as a fielder, he pulled off some brilliant catches.
Since 2014, he endured disappointing seasons for Delhi Daredevils and Kings XI Punjab and as a result, finds himself out of the reckoning for India's limited overs squads.
IPL 2018 presents him with an ideal opportunity to revive his international career and no doubt, he will be keen to repeat his performances from the past.
