Delhi Daredevils have just one victory from 4 matches. Their situation is a manifestation of the form of their batsmen. Only two batsmen, Rishabh Pant and Jason Roy, looked in good knick.

Pant is the leading run scorer for DD but he threw away the starts that he got in almost all the matches as he scored 28, 30, 47 and 43. But did not convert any of those into big match-winning knocks.

The problem that Delhi has been facing is losing wickets at regular intervals. Their only win came in the match in which other batsmen built partnerships with Jason Roy who carried his bat through. The lack of partnership led to them getting bowled out in the fifteenth over in their recent match against KKR.

They need their dangerous players Maxwell, Pant and Morris to fire on a consistent basis if they want to go to the playoffs. Delhi needs Maxwell to score big and finish matches for them. Morris has been good but was not given enough time in the middle.
