SRH has always been known for their bowling and even in this season, it is their bowling that is helping them win matches. With the loss of Warner, the batting of SRH became a little light and is vulnerable at times.

They won the first match convincingly owing to a big half-century from Shikhar Dhawan. But in the second match, even after the good start provided by Dhawan, they lost five wickets in a span of 7 overs.

Even then things were going SRH's way before they encountered another mini-collapse rattled their chase. From 15 needed off 18 balls with 5 wickets in hand, the equation changed to 11 needed off last over with one wicket in hand. Thanks to Deepak Hooda, Hyderabad won the thriller.

In the fourth match, chasing a target of 194, the SRH batsmen never looked like getting it. After the loss of Dhawan, who got retired hurt due to an injury off his first ball, SRH never looked like they were in the chase.

Even though Kane Williamson and Manish Pandey got half-centuries, the intent to win the match was not at all visible. If they don't correct this, other teams will look to follow KXIP's strategy of batting first and setting a big total against SRH.

They have the second best runs per wicket ratio, but the run rate of the team is lowest. All batsmen other than Dhawan seemed like they had no intent to score quickly or to finish games for their side. They need their biggest buy, Pandey, to fire regularly or else they will be facing a lot of trouble when their bowlers have an off-day.
