KL Rahul has been on fire for the Kings XI Punjab in this IPL. He scored runs quickly at the top and provided great starts to his team. But the Kings of Punjab were not able to make big totals in spite of those starts. But things have changed with the inclusion of Chris Gayle in the playing XI.

The Universe Boss has announced himself with a half-century and an unbeaten century in the first two matches that he played. With two batsmen firing at the top, Kings XI are definitely scoring big runs in this tournament.

They have the second highest run-rate in the tournament and their runs-per-wicket ratio is the third best. But the middle-order has been an area of slight concern because their in-form batsmen have thrown away the starts that they got by gifting their wickets.
