#1 Chennai Super Kings
CSK has the best run rate and runs-per-wicket ratio among all the teams. The best thing about Chennai's batting is that contributions were made by different players. In the four matches played by them, four different batsmen hit half-centuries.
In the first match, it was Dwayne Bravo who scored the crucial 30-ball 68 to help their side to victory. Bravo has been dismissed only once, that too in the first match. In all other matches, he has been an able finisher for them.
In the second match, Sam Billings hit a 23-ball 56 after coming to bat when 102 runs were needed off 52 balls. He was awarded the man of the match award for his performance.
In the third match, it was Chennai's adopted son MS Dhoni who scored a valiant half-century in a losing cause. CSK lost the match to KXIP by four runs but Dhoni coming back to form would have given the Chennai fans a lot to cheer for.
In the fourth match, it was Watson who upped the ante and scored the second hundred of the season. His innings set the tone for the match as CSK restricted the RR to 140 to win the match by 64 runs.
