#3 KL Rahul (Kings XI Punjab)

Hailing from Karnataka, KL Rahul has been one of the best openers in the limited overs format. No brainer, he is in the top four of the list. Rahul has done a decent job for KXIP. Hopping to a new franchise seemed to have worked for him.

Batting

From seven matches, Rahul has scored 268 runs at an average 38.28, and a strike-rate of 170.70. Rahul took the world by storm when he hit the fastest fifty in the history of IPL. Rahul gave carnage a new name as he dismantled the Delhi Daredevils bowling attack from the very first ball.

Wicket-keeping

Before the start of the tournament, not many would have thought that he would don the list of best wicket-keeper batsmen in IPL 2018. Apart from his quality batting, Rahul has done a fair bit of wicket-keeping in this IPL. In seven matches, Rahul has affected three catches behind the stumps.
