After a couple of quiet overs, Johnson was brought into the attack. He conceded 14 runs as RCB got much-needed momentum in the powerplay. He then came back to the 14th over and once again conceded a boundary off his first delivery to release the pressure created by Kuldeep Yadav from the other end.
He was then summoned to bowl the final over and conceded 16 runs which helped RCB get past the 170-run mark. Johnson for the second game in a row was expensive as he ended with figures of 0/38 (in 3 overs) in this game.
