#2 Ben Stokes v Rashid Khan

He is the world’s best all-rounder and one of the most expensive players in the IPL, however, Ben Stokes has not been at his best in this year’s tournament so far. He has recorded an average of 24.50 and a strike rate of 126.72. He has scored no fifties yet and perhaps for a big player like him, the challenge of performing against a bowling attack like that of SRH’s might just spark him back into form. However, if he is to do that, then he would have to overcome his difficulties against leg-spin bowling and get the better of SRH’s Rashid Khan, who is in red-hot form at the moment.
After being taken to the cleaners in the two games against Kings XI Punjab and Chennai Super Kings, Khan made a few adjustments to his bowling and returned to his devastating best. He returned figures of 2 for 11 and 3 for 19 in the last two games as SRH ended up defending paltry totals. He would be the player who is most likely to give Stokes a lot of trouble. The all-rounder has faced up to 13 deliveries from Khan and has been dismissed twice. This is going to be a huge challenge for Stokes and has all the makings of a classic.
