#4 Suresh Raina (Middle-order batsman)
Raina is the leading run-scorer in the history of the tournament as he is rightly called ‘Mr.IPL’.
He has never missed an IPL match in his entire career, be it for the CSK or the Gujarat Lions. In the first eight seasons, Raina played for the Chennai Super Kings and won two titles - in 2010 and 2011.
He then played for the now-defunct Gujarat Lions in 2016, 2017 editions. The Uttar Pradesh batsman has scored above 400 runs in almost all the seasons, except for 2015, 2016 editions.
With 4540 runs in 161 matches at a strike-rate of 139.09, he leads the all-time leading run-scorers chart. The southpaw has got 31 half-centuries and a century to his name in the IPL, with the highest score being 100*. Raina has taken 85 catches in his IPL career, a perfect example of why he is one of the most virtuous Indian fielders in the IPL.
