Mohammed Shami's problems continue in the IPL

Mohammed Shami had to deal with a humongous personal dispute going into the IPL. Even now, his problems are not over as the Lalbazar Police Station in Kolkata had a conversation with the bowler when he came to Kolkata for a match against KKR. Unfortunately for DD, they have been caught in the middle of a fiddle.

In the 13.5 overs that he has bowled so far, Shami has conceded 144 runs. His economy rate of over 10 runs per over is almost equal to Woakes' figures, but he has failed to pick up as many wickets. Shami has picked up just 3 wickets so far, and the Gautam Gambhir-led side needs him to go all guns blazing from the very next game.
