Jaydev Unadkat has failed to live up to his price tag

Jaydev Unadkat has been in the picture for quite some time, but last year was when the Porbandar pacer showcased his true ability. He picked up 24 wickets and conceded runs at an economy rate of just 7 runs per over. He got his reward in the form of an INR 11.5 crores contract from Rajasthan Royals.

RR wanted Unadkat to carry his last year's form into this year's IPL, something which he has failed to do so far. Unadkat has conceded 87 runs in 3 games and his economy rate is also just a notch under 11 runs per over. To add to the humiliation, Unadkat has picked up only a couple of wickets.
