Markande announced his arrival in the first game against CSK, where he took 3 wickets and conceded just 23 runs. For those wondering whether he is a one-match wonder or not, Markande's performance in the second match was even better. He conceded the same runs and took 4 wickets. However, Markande received a different treatment in the last game against DD, where Jason Roy decided not to discriminate bowlers on the basis of their form and punish everyone.
