After destroying CSK's bowlers with his brutal power-hitting in their last game, Chris Gayle ran a riot on SRH this term.

KXIP struggled to find the rhythm during the initial overs of their inning, however, Chris Gayle stood like a pillar for them and helped his team to reach a massive total of 193. He scored the first hundred of the 2018 edition of the IPL and played an unbeaten inning of 104 runs in just 63 balls.

There was a doubt about Chris Gayle's form before the tournament and critics tipped him to struggle during this season. But the veteran proved everyone wrong and showed that there is still a lot left in him.

Chris Gayle started his career with KXIP really well and will be hoping to continue his brilliant form in order to end KXIP's wait for their maiden IPL title.
