IPL 2018: Twitter reacts to SRH's victory over RR

After winning two consecutive matches because of two amazing bowling performances, SRH traveled to Jaipur to face Rajasthan in their fortress. After two low scores, Sunrisers' batting was boosted with the addition of Alex Hales.

With Hales' addition, Sunrisers were cruising through at the back of a 92-run partnership between Kane Williamson and Hales. But Rajasthan pulled back things nicely by getting the wickets of both set batsmen in the 14th and the 15th overs.

After 15 overs, SRH's score read 120/3 but they were stifled in the last five overs mainly because of the wonderful bowling of Jofra Archer. They could manage only 31 runs by losing four more wickets and set Rajasthan Royals a target of 152.

In the chase, SRH bowlers were clinical with the ball and picked up wickets at regular intervals. In spite of Rahane's valiant innings in which he scored an unbeaten half-century, the Royals fell short by 11 runs. Third time in a row the SRH bowlers have defended a sub-par total and are now sitting at the top of the table with 12 points.

The theory of taking the game deep and let the RRR go over 12 in the last 5 overs works only if you have the "power game" and you can muscle the ball over the fence. It doesn't work for the timers of the ball like Rahane. Got it horribly wrong. #RRvSRH
