The Kiwi seamer was picked up Rising Pune Supergiant in IPL 2017 and he played four games for the franchise, which also included a Man of the Match spell of 2/7 in four overs against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
He was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for IPL 2019 and expected a play a key role for them in the absence of Mitchell Starc. Ferguson clocked the second fastest ball in IPL 2017, 150.90 kmph. He also bowled a lot of deliveries over 149 kmph in the four games he played in IPL.

Jorfa Archer is one of the top contenders to bowl the fastest delivery in IPL 2019. Archer stole the limelight in 2017/18 Big Bash League and was snapped up by Rajasthan Royals for IPL 2018. He justified their faith with some great performances last season.
He ended up delivering the fastest ball in IPL 2018 as one of Archer’s delivery clocked 152.39 kmph on the speed gun. He bowled fast throughout the tournament and clocked speeds of 149+ kmph on numerous occasions.
