#6 Best bowling average - Kagiso Rabada (17.93)

Kagiso Rabada had a fantastic IPL season to say the least. He picked up 25 wickets in 12 games with a bowling average of 14.72 to finish second in the Purple Cap list.

After this season, Rabad has 31 wickets in 18 IPL matches with an overall bowling average of 17.93.

Among all bowlers with at least 10 wickets in the IPL, Rabada has the best bowling average. The next best is 18.72 by Doug Bollinger, who took 37 wickets in 27 games.


#5 Most fours by a batsman - Shikhar Dhawan (524)

Shikhar Dhawan is the fifth highest run scorer in IPL history with 4579 runs to his name, and he has scored 45.77% of his runs through fours alone.

Dhawan hit 64 fours this season and broke Gautam Gambhir’s record of 491 fours. Now, the Delhi Capitals man has 524 fours to his name.

Gambhir’s tally was also surpassed by Suresh Raina this season; the CSK man has 493 fours to his name.
