Cutting almost got Mumbai Indians in the playoffs in IPL 2018 with an incredible innings against Delhi Daredevils in their last league game. Cutting has been in good hitting form in the recently concluded BBL and might be preferred over the experienced Kieron Pollard.

Rohit Sharma is another captain who likes to lead from the front. Even though Rohit opens the innings, he is a fantastic player of both spin and fast bowling. The Mumbai Indians' skipper also has a cool head which is important in tense situations.
