Kane Williamson was the Orange Cap winner in 2018 edition.

Kane Williamson has been in a top form in the ongoing international calendar. And with the player available for the complete season, one can expect King Kane to retain his Orange Cap.

Williamson was one of the biggest surprise packages of the IPL 2018 as he scored a stupendous 735 runs averaging 52.50 with a strike of 142.44, scoring 8 fifties in the 17 games for his side. He almost led his side to a second title before Shane Watson's heroics blew them away.

Williamson seems meant to play cricket on a sunny afternoon in England, with a nice breeze hovering over a beautiful sight screen - such is his style of play, which contradicts the method of playing T20 cricket in the modern era. He pierces gaps through the covers, shuffles across to the off stump and whips deliveries into the leg side.

Williamson might continue to lead the side as their regular captain David Warner might not be available for the entire season due to World Cup preparations.
