Delhi Capitals

One of the three teams to have never won an IPL, Delhi Capitals have one of the most lethal pace attacks for the upcoming season. The attack had almost the same look last year too, but injuries deprived the Delhi-based franchise of the services of few of their fast bowlers.
Any team would fear facing the trio of Chris Morris, Kagiso Rabada and Trent Boult. Injury forced both Morris and Rabada to miss matches last season and Boult did not find much support from the remaining pacers. Rabada and Boult with the new ball will be as deadly as any. Morris has a knack of being amongst the wickets irrespective the stage of the game where he bowls. Putting the short balls and yorkers to good use, Morris has been brilliant at the death as well as in the middle overs.
Talking of the Indian pacers, the release of Mohammad Shami, who is in good white ball form at present might prove them costly. But the presence of the experienced Ishant Sharma holds them in good stead. Nathu Singh and Avesh Khan, with their raw pace, can prove to be difficult for the opposition if used wisely. The West Indian all-rounder Keemo Paul might prove to be the trump card for Delhi this time with his flair. He might be particularly useful in case any of the three frontline pacers pull out midway for world cup preparations.
