#1 5/5 vs Rajasthan Royals, IPL 2009
In the 2nd match of the 2nd edition of the Indian Premier League, Royal Challengers Bangalore faced off against the Rajasthan Royals in a "Battle Royale". RCB elected to bat first after winning the toss and Rahul Dravid's fine knock of 66 runs helped the Bangalore franchise set a target of 134 runs for the Rajasthan Royals at Cape Town.

Chasing 134, the Royals got off to a horrendous start as they lost half of their side with just 28 runs on the board. To make matters worse, Kumble was introduced in the attack and the Indian leggie cleaned up the remaining half of the Royals' side to bowl the defending champions out for a total of 58 runs. Anil Kumble came out with magical figures of 5/5 from that match.
He even bowled a maiden over in that spell but Rahul Dravid was adjudged the man of the match for his stupendous innings.
