Mohit Sharma shone in the death overs once again

Mohit Sharma's best IPL performance came against the Mumbai Indians in IPL 2014. Playing in the Dubai International Stadium, MI won the toss and elected to bat first. The team got off to a disastrous start as they lost Michael Hussey in the 2nd over itself. To make matters worse for Mumbai Indians, Mohit Sharma dismissed Aditya Tare in the 5th over.

Corey Anderson and Rohit Sharma built a solid partnership as MI bounced back in the match. With 6 wickets in hand and Kieron Pollard and Ambati Rayudu at the crease in the 19th over, it looked like the two big hitters would push MI towards a grand total.

But, Mohit Sharma completely stunned the Mumbai Indians supporters by picking 3 wickets (Pollard, Rayudu and Harbhajan Singh) in the 19th over and MI could only reach 141/7 in their 20 overs.

Chennai Super Kings easily won that match with 7 wickets and 6 balls to spare in the end.
